Sparring Safety
- All sparring will be controlled by the instructor on duty. Class sparring will consist of light contact only. Hard hitting is not acceptable.
- Dipped foam feet, hands and head protector are mandatory. If you do not own your personal equipment, you may borrow equipment from the equipment bag. Once class is over, you must Lysol spray borrowed equipment and return it to the equipment bag.
- All students must have their own mouthpiece to spar. Males must wear a protective groin cup in order to spar.
- Students must have their own sparring equipment once they achieve the rank of green belt.

In tournament style fighting for under gups, the match lasts for two minutes or three points (whichever comes first). In black belt division, the match lasts for three minutes or five points (whichever comes first).
